Integral
How many roof systems actually become part of the roof? Most are
stuck down, battened down, welded down. Wind uplift
factors have
to be considered.
Seamless
All roof seams, joints and overlaps are potential leak areas on a
roof.
All roofs move and any joints are vulnerable to
movement. Anything
that affects the integrity of a roof system, such as
bolt heads and fixings
are liable to fail and allow water ingress.
With our liquid applied system there are no seams, no
fixings, no joints
or overlaps. Just total seam free waterproofing.
Cold Applied
The use of hot works at heights is becoming more of an
issue these days.
Higher insurance, Health and Safety and the Environment
are all causes
for concern. Our systems are cold applied using
simple application
equipment and minimal disruption to the building, its
operations and its
occupants. No danger, no smells, no heat.
Simple
The roof is at the end of its life so what are the
options? Strip the existing
covering and re-roof? Overclad? No need with a
liquid membrane
system. With our system it is easy. Extra life is
added to a liquid system
merely by cleaning the roof and applying another coat
of the appropriate
material. How's that?
Sustainable
At the end of the life of many roof systems the only
thing to do is to
remove the existing covering and start again. For how
much longer will
discarded roof coverings be allowed to be disposed of
in land fill sites?
With our system, if the substrate is sound, there is no
need to remove the
existing roof covering. The liquid system can be
applied straight on to
clean, solid surfaces. So nothing to take to the tip!
